We all know that gaming can seriously damage our mental and physical health, especially if it becomes so addictive that we forget about the needs of our body and mind. Playing too many video games can be detrimental and it’s hard to know when you’re falling into a trap. When you get the stage where you’re actually turning down social events to complete a game then you know you’re in trouble. Don’t get us wrong, gaming can lead to extra socialising because you’re speaking to fellow gamers online, but you can never underestimate how healthy it is to spend time outdoors with friends and family. Gaming shouldn’t take up the majority of your time, unless you work in the gaming industry, so always be sure to look in the mirror and see how much time you’re spending playing games. Having a good solid break for a month or two can help and there’s no better time to do it than Christmas.
