Nintendo announced several new titles for the Switch recently during a Nintendo Direct Mini. In addition to a new chapter of the Mario Tennis series, it’s also releasing action RPG The World Ends with You: Final Remix, JRPG Ys VIII, fighting game SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, and Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze.

Mario Tennis made its debut on the Nintendo 64 (not to be confused with Mario’s Tennis on Virtual Boy); its last instalment was Wii U title, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. Mario Tennis Aces, coming this spring, will feature both competitive gameplay and a story mode, the first since the Game Boy Advance title!

We’re really looking forward to the new Mario Tennis title. It has definitely been far too long, and the great thing is we know what we’re going to get. A good quality, fun, tennis game, full of colour! Just don’t make us wait too long Nintendo!
